About Stahl Photography Photographer Robert Stahl has been capturing motorcycles and the sport of motorcycling on film for over 20 years and is truly passionate about this intense, unique sport, and the technical and aesthetic aspects of the machines. But Robert's involvement with the sport hasn't been merely as an enthusiast behind the lens -- he has been riding motorcycles for 25 years, and sport raced in the mid 1980s on a 1983 GS750ES (the same model that launched the career of rider Kevin Schwantz). As a photographer, Robert has photographed many of the best racers of all time, including Kenny Roberts, Freddie Spencer, Wayne Rainey, and the current superstars of the current National Superbike series as well as World Superbike. Robert's personal experiences as a sport rider are reflected in his photographs, which convey the drama and spirit of the sport. It is for this reason that many of the world's best riders personally own a "Stahl," including Doug Chandler, Pascal Picotte, and Wayne Rainey. This Web site contains many examples of Stahl's work. Visit this site during the 1998 U.S. Superbike and World Superbike seasons for many new photos. Stahl Photography can be reached at 707-513-9646 or via email at robert@stahlphotography.com.
